From Ziegfeld to Sondheim

The History of Broadway

October 2014

Don Boevingloh and me at The Mark Twain Library basking in the glory of Broadway.  A great gig!

memories...light the corner of my mind...

Meet Cary Brown...a wonderful musician who accompanied me at a Holiday Cabaret in New Fairfield, CT this past December.  A wonderful venue with such festive people - it was the perfect way to ring in the Holiday season.

Me and my best bud, Michael DeMarco - singing one of our hits - I Got You Babe...at Flip Flops in Ft. Lauderdale.

Nursery Crimes - November, 2010

So what do you think of me a redhead?  I had the great pleasure of performing as “Little” Red Riding Hood all grown up in “Nursery Crimes” - a fun romp and murder mystery written by Jim DeBlasi and Jamie Whitfield - in New Fairfield, CT.  This is me with Doug Bagnasco, who played Wolfie.

The Grand Tour - March, 2011

The Songs of Jerry Herman

So, I did this great show at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center.  Brand new theatre, amazing songs, a killer cast - Sal Viviano, Amy Miller Brennan, Barry Torallo - led by the Maestro himself, Barry Levitt.  It was a perfect performance experience.  Here I am with our producer extraordinaire - Larry Toppall of Mazel Musicals.

There is no tune like a show tune!

CCNF Best of Broadway - May 2012

Here is a dear and longtime friend, Jay Howard at the recent CCNF benefit!  Jay played Daddy Warbucks in my very first production of Annie many years ago!...It’s like no time has passed...

Cabaret Hotline Gala - March 2013

Here I am with my dear friend and sometime singing partner, Anthony Santelmo, Jr. at the Cabaret Hotline “March is Cabaret Month” Gala at the Laurie Beechman Theatre at the West Bank Cafe.  We sang 2 of our hits and had a pretty awesome time.  Here’s a nice article about the event from The Daily News. ('March is Cabaret Month' Mayor Bloomberg proclamation presented at Cabaret Hotline Anniversary Gala - NY Daily News.pdf)

Motherhood Out Loud - March 2013 - Center Stage

This was a great evening of monologues about Motherhood, with Center Stage at the Southampton  Cultural Center (under the direction of Michael Disher) -- with some very nice press. Check ‘em out:
